The Bontemps Playboys
The Bon Temps Playboys specialise in their own brand of Cajun, Zydeco, Swamp Pop based dance music with some R&B thrown in for good measure. Formed over ten years ago from a number of musicians 'playing for beer', this Hertfordshire based seven piece band has become a popular outfit on the U.K. Cajun/Zydeco scene and has enjoyed success at many venues and festivals throughout the UK and occasionally in Europe, playing their mix of toe tapping, foot stomping, goodtime roots derived numbers.
The band have been engaged for BBC radio sessions, including a live session for Andy Kershaw, and have appeared on 'the Warehouse' Carlton TV program.The Bon Temps Playboys are available for private parties, corporate events, festivals, clubs, weddings etc.
