Cottage industry were formed during 1977 and, in various formats have performed since then in every conceivable type of venue throughout England and Wales including;- theatres, hotels, clubs and pubs, barns (some leaking!), town halls, village halls and ships-including a schooner owned by an exiled Cuban goldminer with an all-female Scandinavian crew!
The band have released a number of recordings and have performed on many TV and radio programmes including a live “Medieval Banquet” from the BBC studios.
Cottage Industry are in demand for Ceilidhs and Barn Dances for weddings, parties and dances etc. They have played at all the fine venues in the Dorset/Hampshire/Sussex area, in particular Lulworth Castle, Athelhampton House, Beaulieu, Rhinefield House, Carisbrooke Castle and Goodwood.
