The Hedgemonkeys The Hedgemonkeys produce high energy Folk-rock derived from traditional influences and driven by a strong bass/drum engine to create a sound sometimes melodic, often manic!! They range across the power-folk spectrum-ThPogues, Levellers, Waterboys, Saw Doctors, Oyster Band and also draw on strands of traditional Irish, English and American music, topped up with some self penned material. A six piece hailing from the New Forest, the line-up is:     Alison Duncan: fiddle, whistle, mandolin, vocals     Steve Adams: vocals, guitars, mandolin, banjo     Pete London: vocals, bouzouki, guitar, bodhran     Jo Russell: bass, vocals     Warren Marks: drums, percussion, vocals     Paul Cole: sound engineering The Hedgemonkeys play many folk festivals throughout the year and also play for weddings, private parties, clubs and pubs.
