ZigaZag! Cajun Band play a lively mixture of Cajun and Creole style numbers for dancing or just for listening to. The band are a friendly bunch who believe in creating a good atmosphere as well as playing great dance music. They have been told by Cajuns that they play like Cajuns, not surprising since two of the musicians are regular visitors to Louisiana and have received help and advice from some of the top players there.Music from the bands award winning CD Desperately Seeking Boudin is currently featured on Louisiana Radio and has been played on BBC Radio 1.
The great Cajun fiddler, Mitchell Reed, says of ZigaZag!..."It's very complimentary to have a British Cajun band play with such integrity for the music".
Country Music People magazine recently said:..."their music never palls; the vocal work is outstanding, the music spirited with appropriate touches of aggression in the playing".
