Mario Basilisco
Mario Basilisco comes from a family of Flamenco artists and is considered to be one of the finest exponents of Flamenco Guitar in Europe. He is very experienced, having performed on TV and Radio programmes throughout the UK and Spain, given recitals at St. John’s Smith Square, Wigmore Hall (with Juan Martin), Queen Elizabeth Hall and National Theatre Foyer, performed with the legendary Paco Peña and appeared in concert with Vanessa Mae in Poland.
He has produced an acclaimed recording, ‘Olas Del Mar’and performed at corporate and private functions for clients such as as Hello! magazine, The Institute of Directors, British Midland Airways and at Downing Street for Lord Wakeham.
Mario Basilisco is available for receptions, weddings, private/corporate functions and recitals etc. He can also appear with his son as a Duo and with three dancers ‘Sabor Flamenco’to perform powerful, colourful Flamenco.
