The Oreos String Quartet
The Oreos String Quartet is a vibrant, all female string group which has been performing together for the past four years in London and throughout the UK. The quartet has come to be recognised for its energetic and charismatic performances and highly professional approach. The repertoire of the group includes Classical, Jazz Standards, Show Tunes, Classic pop and some of their own highly original arrangements.
They have played functions for:
British Goverment Hospitality, The Arts Council of Great Britain, Unicef, The British Association of Business Women, Honourable Artilery Company, The National Trust, The British Museum, Guy's Hospital, London, Department of Trade and IndustryThe Quartet have provided the Strings for Pop Bands including: Gabrielle, Hothouse flowers, Herbie Flowers Stretch & Verne, Baikarts-Swing and dance Band
TV appearances include: Top of The pops, TFI Friday, BBC Radio 1 and 4 and Pebble Mill.
The String Quartet has provided background music for weddings and functions throughout the country and was resident quartet at Chorak Restautrant, London and the Honourable Artillery Company.
