The Sonus String Quartet The Sonus String Quartet are a vibrant and versatile all-girl ensemble, with years of experience in providing exactly the right ambience for your special event. All members of the quartet are graduates of The Royal College Of Music who individually have worked with many of the major Orchestras in the UK including The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, The Halle, The Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, English Symphony Orchestra, English Sinfonia, Liverpool Philharmonic, BBC National Orchestra of Wales, Scottish Opera etc. Sonus have performed across the United Kingdom and in Europe, and recent prestige events include playing for the Launch for the new BMW 5 series, the Women Mean Business Awards, and the Rory Peck Awards. Sonus regularly entertain at events at The National Gallery, St James Palace, Somerset House, and on the Thames River Cruises, as well as being much in demand for session work. They have recently completed a series of recordings within the pop music field, and have provided the music for events in all the major London hotels, including amongst others, Claridges, The Dorchester, and The Ritz.
