Stringendo Stringendo string quartet was founded in 1994 by Charlotte Gallagher whilst being a member of the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra. During this time she toured Europe and the U.S.A., performed on many broadcasts for radio and television, and made recordings as part of one of the country's leading orchestras. Offering music for strings at the highest level, Stringendo perform throughout the south of England for weddings, receptions, corporate functions, product launches, private parties and society balls at locations including stately homes, five star hotels, yacht clubs, castles and private residences. Stringendo has performed at many prestigious venues including Chewton Glen, Lulworth Castle, Somerley House, Lainston House Hotel, Rhinefield House, and Upton Country House. Stringendo are regularly called upon to entertain for Corporate clients including Barclays Bank, Skandia, Tesco, Zurich Assurance, De Loitte, UBS, Mercedes Benz etc, and when Gary Rhodes presented a series of gourmet evenings in London, Stringendo were engaged to provide the music.
