The Thamesis Quartet was formed in 1991 whilst it's four members were studying at the Royal College of Music and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. The quartet is a professional ensemble which provides an exceptional standard of playing and a wide range of music that can be tailored to individual requirements. Their repertoire is extensive and covers classical, popular classical, opera favourites, songs from the shows, easy listening and TV and theme music to cater for all events such as weddings, receptions, christenings, parties and corporate entertaining.
The Thamesis Quartet has built up an impressive list of clients, having played for The National Trust, The Virgin Group, The Cafe Royal, The Portman Hotel, The Athenaeum, Harvey Nichols and Apsley House amongst many others, as well as appearing on Channel 4's "The Big Breakfast".
