Danielle Clarke is a professional, enchanting harpist who’s music is enjoyed by everyone who hears her play
She leaves her audiences mesmerised by the beauty of the music and sounds she creates with her harp. Whether you want graceful background music for your wedding or a contemporary performance with a difference for your event, Danielle will not disappoint.
Danielle grew up in London and studied the harp at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Since then she has played in orchestras and shows and has worked for Cunard providing harp music on their world cruises.
She had a residency at the Inter-continental Hotel on Hyde Park Corner, London for seven years, before moving to Portsmouth, Hampshire where she now lives. Danielle teaches both privately and at school.
Her repertoire ranges from well known light classics, unusual harp classics, folk airs, popular standards, jazz numbers and easy listening tunes. In fact, you name it, she may play it (and if not, you can provide the music in harp or piano version and she will give it a go!)
"Sorry I didn't get to speak to you at our wedding but I just wanted to say thank you so much for playing your harp at our wedding. It was beautiful. All our guests commented on how good it was." Joanne and Dan, Lancashire (wedding in New Forest, Hampshire)
"Thank you so much for Saturday Danielle. I'm so sorry I didn't get a chance to meet and greet you, it was all a bit of a whirlwind. Everyone is saying how beautiful it was. Thank you again. I will be recommending you" Annalesa and Paul, Hampshire.
"...thank you so much for playing at our wedding in September. The lovely music you played was the centerpiece of the ceremony. It would not have been so wonderful without your harp!" Katalin and Simon, Hampshire.
"thank you for playing your harp so beautifully at Langrish House at our wedding reception. You were very discreet and unobtrusive - very professional and the music pieces were just perfect." Julie and David, Petersfield.
"...thank you so much for all your hard work on the day of our wedding. It was a joy to walk down the aisle to the sound of your harp so thank you for allowing me the privilege! There have been many comments on how beautiful it was so thank you once again!" Andrea, Chichester.
