Keyboard Player Chris Barton was trained at the Royal College of Music. He is experienced in live and recording work, including an album with Shirley Bassey, TV work for the Cutting Edge series, Touring with pop band 'Magik' and production work with various pop artists.
The other musicians within the band also have some seriously impressive credentials having worked with Elaine Paige, Paul Weller/The Style Council, Womack and Womack, Jimmy Ruffin & Matt Bianco, Robert Palmer, Olivia Newton John, Chaka Khan, Sister Sledge, Anita Baker, ABC, Five Star, The Christians, Mary J. Blige, Errol Brown, The Lighthouse Family, Randy Crawford, Super Furry Animals, St Etienne, The Blow Monkeys and Chris de Burgh.
As one of the best professional party bands on the circuit The Chris Barton Band has played at an impressive list of corporate and private engagements since 1995, including Jarvis Cocker's 40th Birthday Party in 2003.
