Cover Story is an experienced five-piece function band based in Southwest London and the Home Counties. The band have performed at wedding receptions, dinner/dances, ladies' nights, office and private parties and charity and fundraising evenings all over London and south-east England. They have played at many prestigious venues in and around London, and entertained at high profile events. Venues and events include: The Hilton Hotel, The Royal Garden Hotel-Kensington, Harlequins Jester Suite, Twickenham- Epsom Grandstand, Epsom & Ewell Lord Mayor's Charity Ball and The Metropolitan Police Summer Ball.
They have a large repertoire of popular songs from the 50's and 60's through to modern day chart material. The band play variety of styles, including soul, ballads, pop, rock and roll and latin so that a wide range of age groups is catered for. Cover Story play live, avoiding the use of backing tapes, sequencing and minidiscs and have a full P.A. system together with lighting for both static and disco / effect. The sound system is also available for speeches, raffles and announcements etc.
