The CoverUps are a four-piece pop/rock covers band comprising lead vocals and three-part backing vocals. They perform an extensive range of rock and pop favourites that are sure to fill the dance floor.
A performance from the CoverUps can feature music from The Beatles, Van Morrison, Robbie Williams, Oasis, The Kinks, Elton John, The Darkness, George Michael, Blur, The Kaiser Chiefs, Queen etc.....
The band are very versatile, and as well as being a full-on party band they are also capable of playing an acoustic set featuring the outstanding vocals of the group creating a cool feel for that laid back occasion.
Since it's beginnings in 2000, The CoverUps have gone from strength to strength garnering a wealth of live experience and a building a reputation for high quality event entertainment. Between them they have performed with a number of high profile pop acts including Liberty X, Space and Chesney Hawkes.
The CoverUps provide their own high quality PA and lighting systems and provide CD music in the breaks. Playing times can be adjusted to each event, however the sets would usually be either 3 sets of 40 minutes or 2 sets of one hour.
The CoverUps have played for university balls, private parties, weddings, corporate events for the likes of Heinz, The Law Society etc. and participated in a live transatlantic television performance from the Edinburgh Festival.
