Funky lipstik was formed in 2001 to provide a fresh and exciting approach to live music entertainment. The band brings together six of the country's finest and most sought after musicians to perform a dynamic repertoire of current chart hits as well as rock, pop, and soul classics.
Funky lipstik's live show, combining energy and attitude with professionalism has quickly made them one of the most talked about bands on the scene, and has spawned a number of imitators.
Since their debut engagement in Monte Carlo, demand for Funky lipstik has taken them to Paris, Barcelona, Marrakesh, Barbados, Las Vegas and all over the UK.
The band has already been booked for private and corporate engagements in nearly every major London venue including The Dorchester, The Grosvenor, Claridges, The Savoy, Café de Paris, Café Royale, The Park Lane Intercontinental, China White's, Atlantic Bar, Elysium and The London Guildhall.
Individually, the band's musicians have worked with such artists as Boyzone, Enrique Iglesias, Robbie Williams, Beverley Knight, George Michael, Texas, Craig David, Liberty X, Louise, Gareth Gates, Victoria Beckham, All Saints, Mark Owen, Kyile Minogue, Hot Chocolate, Gary Numan, Boy George, Paul Carrack and ABC.
