The 101's
The 101's are a supergroup of session musicians from London town. They have a massive repertoire boasting over 350 classic hits, bags of experience in the world of weddings and functions, and have written, performed and recorded with some of the biggest names in Pop. The line-up is comprised of a female vocalist, male vocalist/guitarist, bassist and drummer.
Individual band members have worked with The Feeling, Nelly Furtado, Sophie Ellis Bextor, Jamelia and Willl Young amongst countless others and have appeared at The Hammersmith Apollo, Cardiff International Arena and Birmingham NEC. They have performed in many locations all over the world (France, Cyprus, Tunisia, Holland, Germany, Italy, USA, Spain, Malta, Sardinia, Finland) and have mastered every musical style thanks to their wealth of experience performing in tributes to the music of Queen, The Beatles, Sting, Kylie Minogue, Green Day, Scissor Sisters and many more.
The 101's love to play, and give a high-energy performance every time. They play a wide range of floorfillers from The 60's to present day, and pride themselves in picking songs to perform that most bands don't dare attempt! With their superior musicianship and friendly banter, they never fail to fill the dance floor, and cater to people of all ages.
The band can provide background music on CD and also have their own high quality PA and lighting system. They strongly recommend a performance made up of two one-hour sets although this can be extended for an additional fee.
