Chris Smith, his String of Pearls Orchestra and Singers feature the sounds of Glenn Miller and other favourites from the Big Band Era, plus the memorable and enchanting songs of the great Frank Sinatra. The orchestra is fast growing in popularity with their strength being in the ability to move with the times to perform music through the decades from The Glenn Miller Sound through to James Last and onto Whitney Houston and the chart hits of recent years.
The band, led by Chris Smith on trombone, is 16-piece strong and includes three singers. They perform throughout the U.K. for corporate events, conferences, wedding receptions and in concert.
