Jazz Xtra is a group of experienced professional musicians who really know how to entertain!

Drawn from the finest London colleges such as The Guildhall, Royal Academy, Royal College, band members have played at Ronnie Scott’s, Glastonbury, Royal Albert Hall, Royal Festival Hall, 606 Jazz Club and all the top London hotels.

The band is flexible to suit various budgets/venues and events and the line up can be tailored to your particular event. Special requests can be accommodated and event packages are available for parties, weddings and corporate events to include entertainment for reception, meal and dancing later!

A broad mix of Classic Swing/Jazz/Pop/Funk/Latin/Pop/Jive/Rock and Roll (Eg, Ella Fitzgerald, Cole Porter, Gershwin, Sinatra, Carlos Jobim, Duke Ellington etc).
The band plays well known accessible music that will get your guests foot tapping or dancing! Alternatively, they can specialise in a particular style of music for your event .

The bass gives the band a greater depth of sound without being too loud. Perfect for medium sized events.

Jazz Xtra Quartet (Sax/vocals and Piano or Guitar, Bass plus Drums)
The drums add rhythm and drive to the band as well as giving it more flexibility.
The Sax player also sings so this line up works great for listening or dancing.

Jazz Xtra Quintet (Sax/vocals, Piano, Guitar, Bass, Drums)
The 5 piece band gives a full sound and works well for larger events and is particularly suited for dancing!
