Acoustic Swing
Acoustic Swing is led by Jonny Hepbir, a self-taught guitarist who specialises in jazz-manouche or gypsy jazz. He is regarded as one of the most authentic exponents of this style in the country. Jonny has performed on Channel 4, Radio 1, 2 and 4, plus local stations, recorded at Abbey Road and appeared at The Royal Albert Hall in London.
Jonny has performed live throughout Europe at festivals and in concert with numerous groups including 'Ultraswing', John Etheridge's group 'Sweet Chorus', The Dave Kelbie quartet and 'Acoustic Swing'.
Acoustic Swing
Acoustic Swing specialise in an authentic reproduction of the classic sound of 'The Hot Club of France' featuring Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli. The music is mmediately recognisable and guaranteed to start feet tapping. Available in duo, trio or quartet formats, combinations of two guitars, double bass and violin depending on the requirements of the event. Jonny is also available as a solo artiste.
With 'Acoustic Swing' Jonny has performed for countless quality corporate events including Royal Bank of Scotland, Sainsburys, Marquis of Salisbury, Victoria and Albert Museum, O2, British Museum plus all types of private events ranging from anniversaries to wakes!
