Big Boy Bloater and his Southside Stompers are one of Britains premier 1950's era Jump Blues/Rhythm & Blues bands. Their repertoire includes songs by Ike Turner, Smiley Lewis, Roy Brown, Big Joe Turner, Willie Egans and many more, not to mention plenty of their own fine boogie material! Since their start in 1993 they have consistently been one of the busiest and highly regarded bands on the circuit with their mix of up-beat R&B, Jump Blues and Rock & Roll appealing to audiences across the board.
As well as extensive TV and radio work (including a week on the Big Breakfast as the "House Band" and two sessions for Paul Jones' Radio 2 Rhythm & Blues Show), Big Boy Bloater and his Southside Stompers have appeared at such prestigious venues as:

The band has also toured extensively in America, Canada, France, Germany, Switzerland, Holland, Italy, Denmark and of course all over the UK.
