The Bob Wilson Jazz Band
Trombonist Bob wilson leads this top quality band playing music drawn from the popular repertoire of Louis Armstrong, Chris Barber, Acker Bilk and Kenny Ball. Bob has played for the Syd Lawrence Orchestra, The Squadronaires, Herb Miller, Kenny Baker and on the cruise ships QE2 and the Oriana. He has appeared at jazz festivals throughout Great Britain and abroad and in 1994 won the Don Lusher Trombone Trophy.
The Bob Wilson Jazz Band is the ideal outfit for parties, weddings, sales promotions or any event where you want things to go with a swing! They provide quality live music for dancing or listening and can create the right atmosphere for any occasion, from gentle background music to lively jazz for dancing.
Normally a 6 or 7 piece, the band consists of trumpet, clarinet/sax, trombone, bass, drums, guitar/banjo or piano.
