The Lemongrove were formed in 1993 for the sole intention of playing good music very well. Originally a trio comprising double bass/vocals, guitar and drums, the band rapidly gained popularity for their swing/jazz/dance repertoire delivered in their own inimitable style. With a greater diversity of engagements and growing audiences, it was decided to add piano to the trio in 1996. As a quartet, they have gone from strength to strength to become one of the South's leading bands.
The Lemongrove offer a service which includes everything from background and dinner music to a full-on dance set, all delivered in a lighthearted and entertaining fashion. The band can cater for any occasion, from the smallest Garden Party to the largest Corporate event, providing all the atmosphere and style you need.
