The Morellos are a violin, guitar, double bass trio. The music is a rich melodic blend of styles from the "Hot Club" music in the style of Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli, Latin American, Eastern European and mainstream jazz.
Since 1989 The Morellos have been performing vibrant background music for private parties, business events, weddings, receptions, promotions etc. in a huge variety of venues. In that time they have gained a reputation for complete reliability and great enthusiasm for the music.
Being a trio, the band is very flexible. They are able to perform acoustically and be relatively mobile,or with amplification and in a small space if necessary.
