Following Robbie Williams' 'Swing When You're Winning' album and concert at The Royal Albert Hall there has been a great revival of swing music and it is now more popular than it has been for many years. The Rat Pack is a nine piece jazz/swing band comprising Lead vocals/trumpet, trumpet 2 Saxes, 2 trombones, guitar, double bass & drums recreating the music made famous by the legendary Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jnr and Dean Martin.
The band play the classic songs immortalised by the legendary crooners but also include many more from Artists of that timeless era such as Tony Bennett and Andy Williams etc. They also include some Latin, Jump Jive and even the odd pop song!.
A performance can feature classics such as THE LADY IS A TRAMP, COME FLY WITH ME, BEYOND THE SEA, NEW YORK NEW YORK, WITCHCRAFT, HIT THE ROAD JACK, IT'S NOT UNUSUAL, MUSIC TO WATCH GIRLS BY, CHOO CHOO CHA BOOGIE, BUILD ME UP BUTTERCUP, MOONDANCE, REET PETITE, JUMP JIVE N' WAIL and many, many more.
The Rat Pack present an exciting show that will get everyone on their feet. It is very dynamic, visual show with the band dressed immaculately playing great music and interacting with the audience.
The Rat Pack are based in the Bournemouth area and are available for parties, corporate work, weddings and concerts within the Wessex area.
