The Carlos Romanos Orchestra had it's exciting beginnings in 1968 at the suggestion of the BBC, and has since then become a world wide Latin American favourite.
Carlos has broadcast several hundred shows not only in the UK but Europe as well. Television has played a role too in the career of Carlos Romanos guesting with Kathy Kirby, Shirley Bassey, Cliff Richard, Peggy Spencer and others, besides enjoying presenting his own show. He has appeared in Londons theatres and hotels, and cruise passengers on QE2, the Canberra, the Oriana and other ships have all danced to his exciting rhythms. Royalty too, together with other Heads of State have also danced to the sounds of Carlos Romanos.
The world of Championship Ballroom Dancing has not eluded his many talents. Carlos Romanos has played for Championships throughout Europe in Aarhous, Copenhagen and Oslo, and the World Amateur Latin Championships at Meadowbank, Edinburgh.
The Carlos Romanos Orchestra is available for private and corporate functions, festivals, concerts etc and can be as big as 18 pieces for the full Latin Orchestra to smaller bands starting from 6 pieces.
