Le Patriks are a professional trio comprising of three of Dorset’s favourite up and coming utility musicians that come together to celebrate a shared love of Mo-Town, Pop, Hip Hop and Indie with fellow music lovers. Expect to hear the very best in music designed to get you on your feet & singing along.
Formed as a working function band in 2009 this band can operate as an Acoustic Duo or Trio and have done for the past few years at events ranging from weddings, large parties and festival headline slots.

Alex Beds – Acoustic Guitar, Electric Guitar, Ukulele & Lead Vocals
Alex Beds is the very recognisable front man of ‘Le Patriks’ with one of the very best power vocals you will hear & definitely pushes the acoustic guitar to its very limit. He will have you on your feet & singing along before you know it. Alex is also well known for fronting local folk giants ‘Fearne’ who have played venues such as The BIC, The 02 & Poole Lighthouse.
Nick Bryson – Electric Bass & Vocal Harmonies
Nick has gained a strong reputation in the area for his Bass playing & has earned the title ‘Nick Fingers Bryson’ for his super smooth unique style. Apart from ‘Le Patriks’ Nick provides the low end for Dorset Music Award Winners ‘Fearne’ where he has shared the stage with Desmond Decker. Athlete, Feeder & Dianna Vickers to name a few. Nick is also a regular face for Session Bass Work, Tuition, Sound Engineering & Producing.
James Ashdown Drums, Percussion & Vocal Harmonies
James has recently graduated with a Masters in Music & was this year’s champion of ‘Bournemouth’s Drum Off’. He has the amazing natural ability to harmonise out of the range of most lead vocalist & can turn his sticks to any genre of music. James provides the rhythm for Southampton University Big Band, his own Jazz Trio & is a regular face for session drumming across the country.
