Mo City are a professional covers band who are especially expert at re-creating the glamour and glitz of the Œ70s Funk and Disco bands. Since 1993 they have gained a reputation for being one of the most exciting and dynamic live acts currently working in the UK function scene. The band consists of seven musicians: mal & female lead vocals, guitar, sax, keyboards, bass and drums. Repertoire includes material by Sister Sledge, Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, The Jackson Five, James Brown and other classic Disco and Motown artists. The band can also perform music from the 30's to the 60's as required.
Performance credits include: The Royal Festival Hall, Canary Wharf, The Hyde Park Hotel, Selfridges, The Ritz, Inner Temple Gardens, Claridges, Lords Cricket Ground, The Hilton, many colleges including Oxford University, Kings college London, University College London, hospitals including The Middlersex Hospital and St. Barts, corporate functions for Gouldens, Kennedy's, Touche Ross and Arthur Andersen, marquees and country residences.
