The two guitars, bass and drums Rock 'n' Roll band have been together with this new line-up since 2002 and seems to be working better than ever. So far the band has produced two self funded CD's and a video of 2 tracks shot at Waterfall Studios Shepherds Bush London for Granada's Sky TV station Men & Motors.
Sugar Rush draws on the influence of The Rolling Stones, Chilli Peppers, Led Zeppelin, Guns N Roses, Black Crowes & Aerosmith to name a few, added with a fresh modern edge.Sugar Rush are a British band playing American style music in a different way that makes them a unique sound for the modern day music industry.
The band have two sets, one originals playing venues round the South East, and a two hour cover set for weddings, parties, bar mitzvahs etc.The covers are always done in the bands own style and they embrace a song and inject their own musical direction rather than do a carbon copy of the song, which seems to be a real winner with the audience.Repertoire includes songs by Primal Scream, GnR, Chilli Peppers, Lenny Kravitz and many other artists. They have over 3hrs of music to play.
