Led by fiddle virtuoso Gundula Gruen, Tatcho Drom draw their inspiration from the music of the Romany Gypsies – colourful & vibrant.

Exploring the musical heritage of Eastern Europe and the Balkans, Tatcho Drom create fresh arrangements and innovative compositions which are fused with elements of classical, world and jazz. The outcome is a unique and multi-faceted repertoire for attentive listeners.

Tatcho Drom’s powerful live performances range from nuanced and subtle to virtuosic and brilliant. They have appeared at the South Bank Centre and Royal Albert Hall, as well as at the Corsham and Rhythms of the World festivals. They have been featured on radio and TV programmes in both the UK and abroad.

Tatcho Drom perform as a line-up of 5 musicians. On occasion they work with selected guest musicians and dancers.
