The Bogus Brothers – The UK’s most energetic, dynamic, entertaining band for parties and corporate events.
The Bogus Brothers were formed in 1986 originally as a Blues Brothers tribute and contained eight members. The band are now a five piece and while playing a handful of Blues Brothers tracks they now have a comprehensive repertoire of cover songs that embrace many styles and emphasise the party aspect of their energetic stage show.
The Bogus Brothers are a five piece outfit with the usual line up of most bands ie, drums, bass guitar, guitar, keyboards and lead vocal. Unusually this five-piece band also includes a two-piece brass section and still remains a five piece! The art to this is that the keyboard player doubles up on trumpet and the guitarist doubles up on trombone and with some clever arranging and production this band have a BIG sound.
The band is completely professional and from your first point of contact you will be aware that these guys know their business. Their promo pack is the best available with a full colour brochure containing a cd-rom that will have any serious booker knowing they hardly need to sell the band to their client. It doesn’t stop there, when the guys arrive at a venue they are 100% professional and can have their production loaded and sound checked in less than one hour. Their sound guys know their trade and usually the sound check is completed within two songs.
They have access to the best production available and can supply anything the client requires for any corporate event from a conference to the after dinner party. From the minute the Bogus Brothers intro starts their audience know they’re in for a treat and something a little different to the norm and as the guys walk out onto stage in their unique Bogus attire you know you’ve one helluva party on your hands!
DOES SIZE MATTER? ANSWER… NO!
It could be the “Avante Festival” in Portugal to over 100,000 people or the NOEA conference to 50 people, The Hafengerburstag Festival in Hamburg, The Murphys Irish Open Golf Tournament at Foto Island in Cork, Guildford University summer ball, The Burlington and Jurys Hotel xmas parties in Dublin, The Rockhouse in Salzburg, the launch of the new Mini for BMW, the 21st birthday party of Ronan Keating, the wedding of Caroline Corr in Mallorca, the Arctic Border festival in Russia and Norway ,The Horseshoe on Queen St, Toronto, Canada, the Hannankaum Downhill ski tournament in Kitzbuhel, Austria, the Rugby Final at Twickenham or Richard Bransons’ Virgin Parties.
Decide for yourself, because with this type of experience and this type of profile you know that the Bogus Brothers are going to be the right choice for your event.
2002 saw the Bogus Brothers play at Caroline Corrs’ wedding in Mallorca. In the select audience of fifty were Bono, the Edge and Larry Mullen of U2, Eddie Jordan owner of the Formula one team and all of the Corrs’, WOW! The gig was so successful, the band were asked to perform and supply the production for the big party celebrations back in Dublin two weeks later. Another complete success.
Ronan Keating was so impressed he had them for his 21st birthday party and the boys have performed with Patrick Kielty of Fame Academy on numerous occasions at corporate events. These gigs have raised the bands profile so much over the past couple of years that they are now one of the leading bands on the corporate circuit in the UK today.
They were guest performers at the Event Show Party at the Olympia in London in January and as the only group there couldn’t have had a better showcase in front of all the top corporate event industry people. The Bogus Brothers are also active corporate members of AOIFE and the NOEA.
One thing’s for sure, when a client books the Bogus Brothers, they are guaranteed the ultimate in party music and entertainment. There is no competition, you will have booked the best and can be sure the event will be a success.

"I just wanted to drop you a quick note to say how brilliant you and the rest of the Bogus Brothers were at the Anglian Water WaterAid Midas Touch Ball on Saturday night. Once again you brought the house down and filled the dance floor from start to finish. You are a pleasure to work with and I hope to see you again next year." Caroline Wakelin – Event Organiser - Wateraid Charity Ball
"THANK YOU for a GREAT evening! We have had such a good feedback on your performance - but then you are professionals! I know you prefer the stage to be up close to the dance floor, but we all agree here in the office that you give a far better performance (or it gets noticed more) when you come to us and make us come to you and involve everyone. You were GREAT and I hope we will see you again next February!" vent organiser - BARC Awards
