A golden era of Jazz which produced some of the world’s greatest dance music, introduced us to ‘Flappers’ and the iconic dance craze of ‘The Charleston’.
This 10 piece band plays music from some of the great composers of that time such as Irving Berlin, Cole Porter, Hoagy Carmichael, Jerome Kern etc. and features the well known songs The Charleston, Anything Goes, Putting On The Ritz, The Continental, Pennies From Heaven, Mean To Me and many, many more.
The Red Fez Orchestra features the talents of some of the South’s finest musicians who have played with famous names in 20’s, 30’s music including ‘The Pasadena Roof Orchestra’, ‘Palm Court Theatre Orchestra’ and ‘Piccadilly Dance Orchestra’. Members have also worked with Swing specialists ‘The Regular Joes’, ‘The Three Belles’ and ‘The Bevin Boys’.
