The Woodsiders are an experienced band from Hampshire playing for barn dances and ceilidhs.
They can entertain for all types of function – club/works socials, wedding receptions, fund raisers etc….. Barn Dances are great entertainment, and the Woodsiders lively music will make it a night to remember. Their caller will guide your guests through the dances, with the emphasis being on fun.
The Woodsiders play a mixture of English, Irish, Scottish and American styles of music and have played in venues both small and large – village halls with under a 100 guests to the Bournemouth International Centre for 2,000+.
The main barn dance band line-up is accordion, acoustic guitar, and percussion, plus a caller. the Woodsiders have a number of musicians who guest for them if any of the regular band members are unavailable, or if a larger barn dance band is required, with fiddle being the most popular addition to the regular band line up.
The Woodsiders have 5 million public liability cover, and all electrical equipment is P.A.T. tested annually.
