THE QUEENS

THE QUEENS are the most authentic sounding and visually exciting Queen tribute band you'll ever see. Completely live and without any backing tracks, they bring you the look, sound, raw energy and showmanship of a 'Queen' concert, emulating their most memorable performances at Live Aid, Wembley '86. So if you missed the real thing, check out the next best thing. go to main pic

In 2006 THE QUEENS successfully headlined many large events, including the Cowes week festival, (to a sell out 6000 crowd) and the Official Queen fan club convention in Prestatyn. By popular demand, 2007 sees the band playing again for the Fan club at their September 'Freddie Mercury birthday celebrations' in Bournemouth.

Formed in 2001, THE QUEENS are a five piece band featuring the talents of Colin Hemmings as Freddie Mercury, Mark Littlehales (Brian May), Jem Harris (Roger Taylor), Tom White (John Deacon) and last but by no means least, Paul Wolf as Queen's unsung keyboard wizard Spike Edney.

Quotes

They were extremely impressive, great sound and show.
Jacky Smith - Official International Queen Fan club

This group was simply outstanding. When Colin Hemmings emerged, clad in white trainers, trousers and vest, and later in the performance in the crown and cape, he was Freddie Mercury. All of the Queen hits were played to perfection, and the evening finished with 'I want to break free' and Freddie came on clad in stockings and high heels, pushing a vacuum cleaner, just like the video, fantastic. This is not a show to miss if they visit again.
Michael Southwell - Review in Portsmouth news 9/9/05

The 'Queens' performance was outstanding, those guys are one of the best tributes available. Their sound was authentic and their look was spot on. 'Freddie' had several costume changes the entire band were in character. They were very easy to work with and carried themselves with a high level of professionalism. If you are looking for top quality entertainment for any event you need look no further than these guys.
