Rockin' The Joint (50's Rock 'n' Roll Band)
Rockin' The Joint are a popular three piece band, well established on the national rock and roll scene.
The Band originated in 2001, and have made appearances alongside some big names in the history of rock and roll including the original Crickets, the Comets, Little Richard, Charlie Gracie, and Elvis's original guitar player Scotty Moore.
They tackle the various styles that developed within the Rock 'n' Roll genre- from the US Rockabilly style through R&B influenced harder edged material, the British beat, classics from Bill Haley, Johnny Burnette, Carl Perkins and Elvis, as well as many contemporary rock and roll artists.
A large sprinkling of their set lists is flavoured with the Jive beat - ever popular in clubs around the UK and in Europe.
The Band consists of vocals, guitar, drums and the all essential ingredient for authentic 50's music - a slap bass. All members of the band sing - all take lead vocals, and harmonies are a strong feature of their sound.
