THE WORD is a 60's & 70's Beat Band regarded as one of the country's leading party bands with an impressive list of credits to their name. These include performances at the Royal Palace Of Hampton Court, London's Royal Albert Hall, Gleneagles in Scotland, the Le Meridien In Paris and the Salle Royal in Marrakech.

THE WORD play everything from covers of The Beatles, Rolling Stones, The Kinks, The Trogs, Jerry And The Pacemakers,The Who, Spencer Davis Group, T-Rex, Slade, David Bowie, Lou Reed, Patti Smith and Wings. The Word also has a selection of original tracks in 60's and 70's style. The band can create short sets or full concert offerings.

THE WORD has over 50 years of combined top level performance experience and are available for hire anywhere in the World. The Word play for Weddings, Anniversaries, Private Parties, Public Functions, Corporate, Trade shows, Commercials, TV shows, Sound tracks, Launches, Charity Events etc.
