The Bright Sparks are a professional party and wedding band for high energy entertainment.

This band are specialists in providing exactly what is required for your event. The versatility of the band has been proved time and again as they have played at events as varied as corporate shows, company balls, weddings, birthday parties (from ages 18 – 60!), universities, ski resort opening nights, and nightclub parties. It’s not unheard of for the band to play an intimate afternoon acoustic show for a quiet garden party, and then carry on to play a storming rock set to a packed out club room later on that evening. This band really can put on an unforgettable show in any situation.

The overwhelming response is that of delight at the way the dancefloor is filled from start to finish by the energy, enthusiasm and skill of the band. The most consistent remark the band receives is that clients have never seen so many people up and dancing at a live show. When this is combined with the stunning sound of the band, tight vocal harmonies, the professional look and a repertoire that has never failed, its easy to see why The Bright Sparks have caused such a stir at every show they’ve played.

They are young but very experienced having played for countless weddings, parties and corporate events throughout Europe. Band members have also played European tours with top chart acts and appeared on TV in shows such as Later With Jools Holland, Party In The Park Live, Top Of The Pops, GMTV, CD UK, T4, The Saturday Show, Rise, BBC Hall Of Fame and The Richard Blackwood Show. That two ex members of the band now play with chart topping band The Feeling is testament to the quality of the musicians.

Band members have also played with 10cc, ELO, Brian May & Roger Taylor from Queen, Midge Ure, Sophie Ellis Bextor, Shania Twain, Matt Cardle, Go West and Will Young.

The Bright Sparks play a wide range of music from the early 60’s to current hits, delivering stunning renditions of music from Artists as diverse as The Beatles, Queen, Elvis Presley, The Clash, The Beach Boys, Stevie Wonder, Simon and Garfunkel, The Rolling Stones, Van Morrison, Cold Play, Robbie Williams, The Darkness etc…. This makes the band perfect for weddings and parties of all kinds where a wide range of music is required to satisfy differing age groups and musical tastes.

The band plays as either a four or five piece band and everything is played live. The Bright Sparks do not use backing or sequencing, believing that a live performance is essential to give the flexibility that makes for a great night’s entertainment.

The Bright Sparks will take the time to discuss the requirements you have for your event to make sure that everything goes perfectly on the night. They dress appropriately for each occasion and are equally at home playing for the most private party in a Country House as playing for a Freshers Ball.

They provide their own high quality sound and lighting systems, and will provide music on CD in the breaks. The band usually perform within a period of three hours however playing times/sets etc. can be negotiable.
