Amber Fire play throughout Devon & the West Country for ceilidhs, barn dances, weddings, parties & festivals

The music is a mix of Scottish, Irish, English folk with a dash of Balkan for good measure. The band are well known for playing toe tapping jigs, reels etc. and being able to get everyone onto the dance floor for a night of dancing that is for young and old alike.

Amber Fire in it’s full form is a 4pc band of Caller/Fiddle/Melodeon, Flute, Guitar & Accordian. The band has experienced, skilled musicians who’s main aim is to provide first class entertainment and create an atmosphere for a memorable event. Caller & Fiddle player Chris Jewell is renowned as an excellent caller and he is the catalyst to choose the dances, give instruction and keep the Ceilidh/Barn Dance energised prompting only as often as needed so as to keep things going.

There are different options of band sizes to suit smaller events or where budget does not allow for the full 4pc. The 3pc of Fiddle, Guitar & Accordian works well and the 2pc of Accordian & Guitar is the smallest option available.

Amber Fire provide PA system and recorded music for any breaks. Some basic LED band lighting can be available if required. Space required for the band is ideally 4mx2m minimum.
