Chris Walker Swingtet
Chris Walker is a renowned jazz clarinet and Sax player based in the South of England.
Chris fronts a number of bands and two excellent ones are the Chris Walker Swingtet and the Pedegree Jazzband.

The Chris Walker Swingtet was formed in 1987 following a one-off Sunday lunchtime session for the Southampton Jazz Society and since then the band has garnered a reputation for playing well crafted jazz to suit any occasion.

The band’s repertoire explores many of the famous and much loved tunes from the swing era of, the 1930s and 40s with a classic 5 piece line up of Clarinet/Sax, Guitar, Piano, Bass and Drums.

Equally at home providing dance music in the Country’s leading hotels and Cruise liners as they are appearing in their own right or backing top National (and International) jazz stars at Festivals and in pubs and clubs, the Swingtet pride themselves as being particularly “user-friendly” and can easily be just the band for you. The band can appear as a 4, the regular 5 or even 6 piece to suit your requirements and budget.

The Pedigree Jazzband
This is a professional Jazzband in the style of Chris Barber, Kenny Ball and Acker Bilk and plays Trad Jazz. The band is a 6pc with Clarinet, Trumpet, Trombone, Banjo, Bass & Drums.

The band tour the UK with an entertaining Trad Jazz show, selling out Jazz clubs and theatres. A performance always includes great, entertaining Jazz along with some informative commentary, anecdotes and of course an element of humour. The musicians represent the cream of Southern Jazz and the quality of playing is precisely what you would expect from expert Jazz musicians.
