The Medieval Mavericks – Expertly played Medieval music with attitude!

Prepare for an Early Music experience with a difference. Dressed in authentic period costume and armed with plenty of wit, The Medieval Mavericks bring the sights, sounds and spirit of the medieval and Renaissance world vividly to life.

From medieval and Renaissance favourites to early Hanoverian music, their repertoire is performed on an eclectic collection of historical instruments, creating a spectacular atmosphere that works equally well for weddings, festivals, re-enactments, corporate events, private parties and historical occasions.

Whether you want elegant music during a drinks reception, a dramatic fanfare to welcome your guests, atmospheric entertainment during dinner or something more energetic to get everyone dancing, The Medieval Mavericks can tailor their performance to suit your event.

There is also the opportunity to make the performance more interactive. The Madieval Mavericks can introduce their unusual collection of historical instruments, explain their origins and provide fascinating insights into the music and customs of the period. They can perform fanfares to welcome guests, provide atmospheric music during dining, or turn up the energy with music designed for dancing.
