ABALICIOUS sound like, look like and perform faithfully the music of the iconic Swedish supergroup ABBA

Endorsed by TV critic Garry Bushell as “Britain’s best ABBA tribute!” ABALICIOUS perform throughout the UK & abroad in stadiums, theatres, concert halls, holiday parks, for festivals, concerts, corporate events, charity events & parties.

The band is led by star vocalist Carla Winters who has performed throughout the world from London to Paris to Dubai to Singapore in a stellar career that has seen her perform alongside Tom Jones, Steps, Blue, Paloma faith, Texas, Seal, Agnetha from (Abba) Go West, Peter Andre, 10cc amongst others. She was the lead with renowned ABBA band BJORN AGAIN for 6 years and now presents ABALICIOUS as the UK’s number 1 tribute to ABBA.

The BJORN AGAIN connection continues with the band’s other star singer Louise who plays the part of Frida. Louise is co-creator & choreographer of ABALICIOUS and has travelled the world with BJORN AGAIN, ABBA GOLD and starred in the theatre production of WATERLOO.

ABALICIOUS are also in demand in the media having been selected by CHANNEL 4 to be the ABBA lookalikes for a documentary about ABBA, and Easy Jet Airlines chose ABALICIOUS to promote flights to Sweden at Gatwick airport. TV media appearances & performances include: BBC News, BBC ONE Show, ITV Studios & Breakfast TV & notable UK venues include: The Royal Albert hall, Hampton Court Palace, Alexandra Palace, Odyssey SSE Arena, NEC, Madame Tussauds etc.

Their performances feature all of ABBAs major hits and there are costume changes with handmade outfits as close to the original designs as possible. There is superb singing, choreography, humour and audience participation is encouraged!

If we good tribute artists are defined by combining a feel for their chosen subject with a lookalike quality then Abalicious are bound to succeed in the tribute market. This genre is saturated in mediocrity and some would say that it is finally reaching its Waterloo. Happily, Abalicious were a big hit and surely have to be pretty near the top of the tribute tree.
