Cecily Beer is a premier professional harpist for weddings & events currently resident harpist at The Waldorf Covent Garden.

Based in Camberley, Surrey, Cecily has performed all over the world including Europe, The Middle East, Australasia, the French Polynesia and the USA. Cecily is in high demand for private engagements. These have included performances for Rolling Stones member, Ronnie Wood; the former Archbishop of Canterbury, Rowan Williams; Time Out magazine’s new year’s eve event at The Shard; and for Her Majesty the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh.

She has taken part in broadcasts on BBC Radio 3 and Classic FM, and several television musical appearances. Her most recent performances include Debussy’s ‘Danses Sacrée et Profane’ for harp solo and strings at St Martin in the Fields with The Brandenburg Sinfonia, Tchaikovsky’s ‘Sleeping Beauty’ at Cadogan Hall with The John Lewis Symphony Orchestra, and Tchaikovsky’s seasonal ‘The Nutcracker’ with Covent Garden Chamber Orchestra at St John’s, Notting Hill.

One of her most notable performances was appearing as a guest recitalist in Kuwait City, performing as part of the British Council’s Cultural Season 2014 at the Dar al-Athar al-Islamiyyah, in collaboration with the British Embassy of Kuwait.
