Dave Springfield started his musical odyssey as a rock singer with chart band Fahrenheit. Whilst with the band he toured throughout the UK and Europe taking in small venues such as The Marquee Club in London to huge events including playing to an audience of 30,000 at a Festival in Estonia. The band recorded a session for BBC Radio 1 and as a result of this were went on tour with Status Quo where the televised concerts took in Sheffield Arena and venues in Austria, Turkey & Russia.

These were heady days and the band constantly worked with high profile musicians including – The Troggs, Bad Manners, EMF, It Bites, Rory Gallagher, Uriah Heep, Suzi Quatro, Magnum, Bob Geldof, Saxon, Alison Moyet & Hugh Cornwell.

Dave eventually left the band to go solo and In May 2000 he appeared on ITV’s hit show ‘Stars In Their Eyes’ as Bryan Adams. Through doing this he realised he could imitate other stars and thus continued his career as a tribute artist.

Since then he has performed at theatres and all manner of venues throughout the UK and internationally in Bahrain, Dubai, Greece, Turkey, Norway, Gibraltar, The Canaries, Balearics and mainland Spain. Clients include – Currys, De Vere, Stat Oil, , Liverpool FC, Yorkshire TV, Pontins, Airtours, Marriott, Hilton, Leeds Utd FC, Holiday Inn, and many more…..

THE SHOW
Dave Springfield performs a tribute to the great Rod Stewart. Entitled ‘A Night On The Town’ the show brings together all the elements of a Rod Stewart concert; the look, sound and mannerisms his fans know so well.

Hit songs spanning 5 decades are delivered with energy and passion from the first bar of music till the last. The trademark gravel voice, the look, the moves and even the hair are replicated in a performance that also sees costume changes and a very animated mic stand The audience are encouraged to be a part of the experience so sing along, clapping and generally enjoying yourself means the audience will leave with a smile on the face and a skip in the step.

A Night On The Town is a show for all ages and available as either solo performance or with Dave’s live 4piece band.
