PLATINUM – The ultimate LIVE! ABBA tribute

PLATINUM is a unique ABBA tribute band in that they perform everything completely LIVE! No backing tracks, tapes, samples etc. just pure musicianship that delivers a flawless recreation of the iconic Swedish superstars ABBA.

In order to play live the band is a 6 pc with the two ABBA girls, Benny & Bjorn plus bass guitar and drums. This enables the band to play with freedom and deliver a more dynamic performance that is at odds with other ABBA tribute bands. This format has led to PLATINUM being in constant demand by festival organisers, party planners and agents throughout the UK and beyond.

A top tribute band has to sound and look like the original so with this in mind the band hired a west end theatre costume designer to produce their stage outfits with instructions that they had to be as close to the originals as possible. Close your eyes and they sound like ABBA, open them and the image is complete.

Members of the band have toured and recorded with some of biggest names in show business and as a group they have performed across the world from Belgravia to Beijing, Moscow to Mumbai & The Middle East.

PLATINIM have entertained Royalty, Presidents, Prime Ministers, celebrities and performed for corporate events for some of the globe’s biggest companies.

Production
All PLATINUM shows are carefully tailored to accommodate different venue sizes and budgets. Whether it is state of the art intelligent lighting and 40k sound system or simple lighting with a small 4k rig the band’s experienced crew ensure optimum audio and visual for each event. So whether you want them in a small marquee or to play for a large outdoor event…it’s all been done before and nothing is too big or small.

Of course the band are also happy to rock up to your event if all PA/tech is provided and they will provide full technical spec.
