Rubix is a fun, exciting professional 80’s tribute band playing great music from your favourite pop bands of the 80’s.

This band will take you back to a time when pop, image and style came together to produce some of the world’s greatest pop anthems.

Rubix play music from a decade of stone washed denim, leg warmers, white stilettos and shoulder pads. Guys were as glamourous as the girls with their make up and addiction to fashion.

Shake the dust from your Frankie Says T-shirt, back-comb your hair and hold on tight to the show that travels at 88 miles per hour all the way back to the best decade in the world… ever! Rubix is a high energy show that grabs your hand and leads you on a journey through the big hair rock classics, new-romantic hits and school disco favourites of the 80s complete with eye-popping costumes and dance moves!

Rubix 80’s tribute band is availble in different packages. Rubix 4 piece is the two girl vocalists out front with the two guys on guitar and keyboards. Drum machine is also part of this line up to give the music that distinctive sound. Rubix 2 piece is the two girls on vocals performing to backing tracks for smaller events and budgets.

Rubix can perform up to 2×60 minute sets of pure 1980’s heaven and also have recorded 80’s music to play in any breaks to keep the parety going! They provide professional PA, stage lighting and LED starcloth where required.

Music will include 80’s hits from Madonna, Blondie, Duran Duran, Bananarama, A-Ha, Adam & the Ants, Eurythmics, Soft Cell, Wham!, Erasure, Queen, Bon Jovi Katrina & the Waves, the Communards etc…
