The iPhonics Roaming Acoustic Band- stunning ‘unplugged’ pop & rock classics.

The iPhonics roaming band is the acoustic version of the well known iphonics electric band that play for parties, weddings and corporate events throughout the UK. The roaming band is now increasingly popular either as an addition to a wedding celebration where the electric band will entertain in the evening or as a stand alone act.

This roaming band is no staid affair but a dynamic group of first class musicians oozing personality and panache playing reworked ‘unplugged’ versions of well known pop and rock songs.

Music is a wide selection from the 60s to recent chart hits taking in Maroon 5, Queen, The Beatles, The Killers, Rhianna and many more.. The sets can be tailored to your taste to suit your particular event.

Instrumentation is different to the pop band version. The lead vocals of star singer Gaz Twist lead this 4 piece band with a line up of Lead Singer/Acoustic Guitar, Acoustic guitar, Bass and Percussion. The backing band also sing so there is also 4 part vocal harmony and this coupled with the band’s unique orchestrations give The iphonics roaming band the edge.

A sax can be added to the regular line up which adds both musically and visually to the performance. The iphonics can also provide amplification/PA for larger events.

The roaming/acoustic band is particularly popular for receptions, outdoors events, dinners and parties where the band can either take up a single position or ‘roam’ from table to table. This is up close quality entertainment and offers a great alternative to the usual jazz trio of string quartet.
