Still on their way home from Woodstock, the children of ‘Flower Power’, The Tar Babies play the best 60’s music this side of the 70’s.

Never more comfortable than on stage, The Tar Babies are: The Beatles, The Move, The Monkees, The Troggs, Little Richard, Ziggy Stardust & The Spiders From Mars, Badfinger, The Kinks, Hendrix, Elton John, Focus, Wings, The Rolling Stones, Mott The Hoople, The Small Faces, The Turtles and many more…..

During their mystic mind expanding episode with the Maharishi, in India they discovered, that to attain the ‘inner balance, spiritual serenity and (above all) vocal harmony’, they so heartily craved, all that they needed was the profound knowledge of the art of wearing a frilly shirt, bad tie and flairs. Once this total sense of enlightenment had been achieved, known as ‘The Carnabyshan Transcendental Meditationary State’ they went on to be probably the busiest band in the country touring the Middle East and Europe, recording eight very popular albums and winning the hearts of many .

Members of The Tar Babies have worked with The Cutting Crew, T’Pau, St Etienne, Peter Andre, Danni Minogue, Savage Garden, Nick Heyward, Archive, BA Robertson, Sandy Shaw, The Boomtown Rats, Genaside 2, The Fingertips, Otis Grand, Belinda Carlisle, Take That, etc….

The Tar Babies are guaranteed to impress with their electric atmosphere of musical humour and non-stop dancing, perfect for festivals, parties and functions for all ages.

HEALTH WARNING – The Tar Babies are not just another retro band, they actually believe they are …………. still in the Sixties.
