With over 5000+ top events under their belts, MIXED FEELINGS is one of the UK’s most experienced party bands on the circuit. The band is based in Hertfordshire and it is from here that they travel to play for events throughout the world.
The band has enjoyed a long & successful relationship with Fantasia Music going back some 20 years and in that time we have worked together on many hi-specification private and corporate events and parties.
Mixed Feelings play completely ‘live’, not relying on backing tracks unlike many of today’s other bands. They can only do this if the musicians are of the highest quality, so the singers and instrumentalists within the band are drawn from the cream of professional artists having toured & recorded with some of the biggest names in the music business.
Mixed Feelings come complete with their own professional PA System and LED Light Show as well as pro DJ, sound engineer and technical crew. This means that all equipment and personnel are always part of the band’s set up, so whether your event is for a small gathering or The Harrods Ball at Grosvenor House, the Mixed Feelings organisation is in complete control.
MIXED FEELINGS have performed at fabulous party’s all over Europe and the Middle East. From Germany to Oman, Sicily to Dubai, and on the World’s top Cruise line. They have played alongside Pharrell Williams, Brian May, Will Young, Alexandra Burk, Matt Cardle, Rose Royce and many more top entertainers.
Mixed Feelings come with a tremendous wealth of experience for every type of Event. Each one is approached professionally, with the crew arriving in good time to set up the stage equipment and sound check long before your guests arrive. Show production is manned by a professional sound engineer and lighting technician and after the performance when all your guests have left, the crew will break down the equipment and leave the premises as quickly and quietly as possible. The band are experts in ‘reading the crowd.’ They are there to play the right music for you and your guests, not for themselves so the music is tailored to each particular event. The band have a comprehensive playlist from which you can select your song preferences and they use this as a guide, adding in songs which they know will fill the dance floor to give you and your guests a great night of music and dancing.
Mixed Feelings perform a 7pc-12pc band have the well earned reputation of delivering dynamic entertainment. The look and sound of this band is what it is all about so the core 7pc features 3 lead singers out front (2xfemale & 1xmale) backed by a band of Keyboards, Guitar, Bass & Drums. The 8pc has an additional male singer and is the most popular line-up.
For larger events and for even more visual effect, the 10pc band has a two piece Brass Section of Sax & Trumpet. For many, this is the band’s best working combination as it has all the elements required to reproduce the great music they cover and gives the band an even fuller sound. The 12pc sees the addition of percussion with additional singer.
