Beautiful string music is not just the domain of the string quartet and a popular alternative is a String Trio which is an option that most of our London String Quartets offer. The trio has a similar sound however occupies less space so it can prove better if space is at a premium. As there is one less instrument (either a violin or the viola is left out from the quartet line up) the cost is also reduced so for those on a tighter budget this option is certainly worth looking into.
