Big Sand Steel Band is a very colourful and contemporary steel band, featuring some of the top musicians in the UK.

Big Sand Steel Band have performed at over 1000 Weddings, Caribbean-Theme Parties, Corporate functions and is based in London but works throughout the UK.

There are two options for bands: the 3 piece steel band consisting of three steel pan players or the 5-piece option which has additional drums and percussion (congas) for a more pulsating Calypso sound. However, 80% of all wedding invitations are for 3 players to cover the drinks reception.

With over 10 years experience of wedding events, Big Sand has become one of the busy steel drum bands for weddings. The acoustic ensemble with 3 players is a popular choice and the standard of musicianship in this band will compete against any other styles of music. In fact, Big Sand has covered many Indian weddings and a variety of other cultural wedding events at some of the best wedding venues.
