Claire Manners

Claire is professional solo sax player based in Dorset playing throughout the South.

She plays at weddings, private functions, parties and Lodge events alongside weekly residencies in the Dorset area. She has many years of experience in live performance and has a wide repertoire of pop and jazz music in her repertoire. Claire offers a professional and friendly service.

Since graduating from the Chichester College of Arts with a BTEC in popular music Claire has performed at hundreds of weddings both locally and nationally and many private functions.

Previous clients include: The Royal Navy, British Telecom, Cirque du Soleil, Habitat UK, AFC Bournemouth, Lloyds Bank, Bournemouth Tourism Awards and Martin & Co. Claire has played in many bands, performed in orchestras for musicals and played alongside DJ sets. She has also had experience performing abroad in Koh Samui Thailand, Taiwan and Europe.

In November 2016 she won the Dorset Wedding Supplier Award for Live Musical Entertainment having also been a finalist in 2014 and 2015.

Claire usually performs as a solo act with professionally recorded high quality backing tracks. A small PA system is provided and the music creates a background atmosphere, perfect for drinks receptions, through a wedding breakfast or evening functions. There is also the option of a lively, more up tempo set and a larger PA system can be provided if required.

DJ & SAX
This option works well for either clubs, bars or wedding entertainment. Claire can perform with her DJ or join in with your existing DJ to create an Ibiza style entertainment which is dynamic and cool! The beats of the DJ with the Sax over the top is now very popular so if you are planning an event and are looking to this style of entertainment the advice is to Book Early!
