Formed in 1989 The Jive Aces have now become the UK’s leading swing band playing up to 300 dates a year.

The band performs world wide and performances so far have reached 25 countries! And by 2012 they had released 6 albums.

The Jive Aces are a 6 piece band- Lead Vocals/Trumpet, , Piano, Bass, Drums ,Tenor Sax/Baritone Sax/Clarinet, Trombone. They are famous for their high energy, dynamic swing, jump jive and Rhythm & Blues. A show can include swing and jive classics from the great Cab Calloway, Louis Prima, Louis Jordan as well as Rat Pack classics from Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis.

The Jive Aces have worked with some of the world’s most famous musicians including Van Morrison, Count Basie, Jamie Cullum, Isaac Hayes, Buddy Grecco etc. and they have entertained celebrities such as John Travolta, Tom Cruise, Priscilla Presley, Lee Evans, David Suchet and HRH Prince Philip.


The Jive Aces have played for hundreds of major events including Glastonbury Festival, Montreux Jazz festival (5 times!), The North Sea Jazz Festival, Cork Jazz Festival, The Berkeley Square Ball, Cannes Film Festival, The Ryder Cup, etc

TV and Radio highlights include ABC’s ‘Good Morning Los Angeles’, BBC Children In Need, Jazz FM, BBC Radio2, Channel 4’s ‘Holy Smoke’, BBC London Radio and many more.
